Controller Charging Puzzle

My MP controller won't charge ( in fact, does not even light up or "connect") when using a Samsung adaptive dual rate block. It charges normally when powered by the DJI power adapter. Why??

Does the charger successfully charge your phone? Maybe not enough power to charge the controller.

I've always used the 4 way adapter that came with my fly more combo. I have the MP1 purchased in October 18. I've never used a block charger but I have plenty laying around... Lol

What are the output specs on the Samsung charger module?

if it has "fast charge" it'll put out 2.0 amps @ 5v and I think 1.6amps @9v

lalojamesliz is correct about the ratings on the Samsung adapter block.

The device works perfectly when charging my 10 inch Samsung tablet as well as my 7 inch Nexus tablet.

Perhaps it has somethong to do with the "dual rate adaptive" claim of the adapter???

The 9v has to be negotiated by the device, which I bee originally was proprietary with Samsung before the QC specs came out. Otherwise it should only put out 5v.
Many have accidentally plugged into the micro-A port backwards with a micro-B cable.
