Any ideas why my controller wont connect with drone???? Controller just keeps saying connecting but doesn't??
Interesting, I am flying an M2P, but the order of turning things on is not critical to proper function. I usually start the drone 1st, just because I’m there with it. Then sit down with my controller and CS connected by cable to the center port on the CS (side controller cable removed). Then I start the controller which results in auto start of my CS.Which drone? And what do you mean by won't connect? Do you mean GO 4 doesn't see it or the led on the controller is red not green.? Are you using phone, tablet ... etc? what make?
I have had problems with a Mavic Air where controller led is green indicating connection but GO 4 doesn't see it as connected.
To cut a very long story short try the following sequence which I found if you deviate from it will inevitably mean you won't see the drone.
I am using a CrystalSky with the Air controller so what I do may not help with your setup depending on your drone and controller. You need to say clearly what drone and controller you have as there are too many variations for suggestions to help your situation.
Controller on, drone on, run GO 4 by switching on CrystalSky and ONLY THEN connect the controller to the CS. If I don't do that the CS will never see/find the drone.
In your case try running with the controller on, drone on and hopefully a green led on your controller. Then run GO 4 and then connect your phone(?) see if that works. If not try other way round. It took a long while for me to figure how to get my setup to connect everything. This works for me.
If doesn't work for you post FULL details of what you are using..
