Controller question for Mavic pro

Can I use a iPad 4 mini in the controller plugged into the side of the controller, at the same time I use the USB port on the controller to drive a set of goggles?

Never tried it just curious if anybody has. Thanks. Blair

Why would you need the USB port for the goggles? They work off the radio signal coming from the Mavic.

Hi and thanks for the reply, reason being I do not have the DJI goggles I have the cheap version where I put my I phone six into it and also have a iPad mini to watch. I was hoping to do both of these at the same time so somebody could use the goggles well I fly watching mini or vice versa.
