The biggest tablet I used with mavic air controller (the same size as M2) was ipad mini 4, firmly fitted in the clamps. I don't think anything bigger than this will fit there and remain secured.

Yes I believe it is the iPad mini 4 on sale today 159.99 at woot.com
Used scratch and dent but still worth the money in my opinion

All the iPad Mini's will fit, but only the Mini 4 and Mini 5 should be considered for a happy DJI flying experience.
