I've been using my mavic with my Iphone with no problems except visibility in bright sunlight so am trying to switch to my new Crystalsky. I ordered the USB to USB C cord as recommended and hooked it up to the controller center rear USB port - also as recommended. The Crystalsky cannot see the Mavic. I then hooked it up to the side port on the controller with the little 4" connector that came with the Mavic and it worked. (obviously not a permanent solution due to the cord length) I repeated the same exercise with my Iphone - trying to connect it to the controller's center rear USB port and same thing: phone cant see the Mavic. So it seems that USB port doesn't work. Has anyone else had the problem or is there something I have to set on the controller to activate that port? I could just use the side port but I don't know how to find a long enough cord - both ends are the micro-usb but one is tapered/angled and one is not.
