Have dived coral reefs all over the world, Caribbean, Red Sea, South China Sea, Indian Ocean as well as Eastern & Western Pacific and Tubbataha is the best place, after Indonesia's Raja Ampat off the Bird's Head Peninsula of western New Guinea, for sheer number of coral and fish species, but with better visibility, though can only be dived by liveaboard from March through June, since there's nowhere to shelter if a typhoon blows through. Check out the large "Solitude One"-not cheap but saw beautiful corals, manta, barracuda shoals and whale shark (a 12ft juvenile butted me in the chest while snorkelling with it!) Did manage to take my Mavic Pro to Raja Ampat last November and after two morning dives spent every afternoon flying the Mavic from Kri Island eco-resort's jetty using my Epson
Moverio BT 300 glasses for a bird's eye view--wonderful! Once this coronavirus business is done will head out East from the UK as soon as I can with scuba gear and Mavic in tow!
