Hi there. I am not promoting traveling at this time. We recently traveled to the Philippines this February and got lucky and didn't have any issue related to corona virus. Here are the highlights of our 5 day trip to Coron Palawan Philippines. Thank you!

Great job editing those scenes, a little on the long side, but I understand, the scenery is just magnificent... I like it.

That was absolutely beautiful and given the variety of quick moving scenes, I didn't find it too long at all. Thanks for sharing.

A truly beautiful area. Had some time there a few years back. mainly for the wreck diving. Looks like much more on the tourist map now - never saw that many boats.

Excellent footage, with some underwater shots as well! Was in Palawan myself in 2017 to dive the Tubbataha Reefs and Anilao, Luzon. Wish I'd had my drone there but was informed special permission required to fly at Tubbataha, so had to copy footage shot by the video pro on our liveaboard who had obtained authority to fly there. Just need time to view your other posts now!

Thank you! It took me two weeks to edit the video. Sorry it was too long, I didn't want to waste the footages.

Thanks Bushie. Oh yeah, lots of tourist now. That's actually nothing before the corona virus thing, this is actually less people.

Thank you! You should come back and bring your drone! I bet you saw a lot of fish at Tubbataha. Was it expensive? I appreciate you checking my other post.

Have dived coral reefs all over the world, Caribbean, Red Sea, South China Sea, Indian Ocean as well as Eastern & Western Pacific and Tubbataha is the best place, after Indonesia's Raja Ampat off the Bird's Head Peninsula of western New Guinea, for sheer number of coral and fish species, but with better visibility, though can only be dived by liveaboard from March through June, since there's nowhere to shelter if a typhoon blows through. Check out the large "Solitude One"-not cheap but saw beautiful corals, manta, barracuda shoals and whale shark (a 12ft juvenile butted me in the chest while snorkelling with it!) Did manage to take my Mavic Pro to Raja Ampat last November and after two morning dives spent every afternoon flying the Mavic from Kri Island eco-resort's jetty using my Epson Moverio BT 300 glasses for a bird's eye view--wonderful! Once this coronavirus business is done will head out East from the UK as soon as I can with scuba gear and Mavic in tow!

Just returned in early February from 10 days diving in the Bahamas witnessing handfeeding of 12 ft Tiger sharks & similar sized Great Hammerheads. Would've liked to have flown my original Mavic Pro from the stern of our liveaboard for aerial shots of several species of shark (Bull & Nurse) waiting to welcome the divers into their realm, but Bahamian Authorities wanted deposit of 50% value of the drone to ensure one isn't tempted to sell it to any locals where the price of a drone is astronomical (heavily taxed). Not worth the hassle, so had to settle for underwater & land video only.
Don't think Tubbataha reefs conducive to snorkelling-generally not shallow enough. If you're able to swim 12 lengths of a public swimming pool you're good enough to do a PADI dive course full time lasting about 4-5 days, though some agencies spread their courses out over one night per week over several months (BSAC). Costs £250-£300, you're young enough, so give it a go!

They are pretty strict in Bahamas. One thing you can do is to tell them that your drone is cheaper because it is second hand, that's what I did with my P4 last 2017.

I would like to try diving but my wife is afraid, I really wanted too. I guess I'm stuck to snorkeling, lol. Have fun on your future trip. I wish this pandemic thing will be over in a few months.

You should try diving. Nothing like it. I have over 1000 dives and never had a major problem so it is very safe. (Well not quite true - I did some commercial work and nearly got entombed in concrete under a bridge - long story)
