On a different forum that I am involved with we have “stickies” at the top of the help page. These are the most useful posts that have been stuck to the top of the column so if they are always the first thing you see.
It’s a great way for new users to find a lot of helpful information without having to wander through lengthy, discursive posts to find a really good tip.
Anyone can add a quote by clipping it out of a thread, or link directly to the post itself…
