Crazy Newbie Tech Help, White cable ???

Ok, I am not a techno phobe but this is driving me crazy, I have downloaded the assistant and I trying to connect the drone to my Mac.

In the kit there was 2 black cable that connect the controller to the iphone or to an android. There was a third white cable with a USB one end and a plug on the other end very simillar to the controller but not quite the same.

Do I have a wrong cable in the kit or am I just using the wrong port. .... spent ages googling it but I can't find anything

It isn't pluged in at all, I am trying to plug the mavic into me mac book. I assume this cable is the cable to do that but it won't fit into the side of the Drone.

Use the cable that charges your controller.

This sounds like what happened to me. Check the two short cables to see which one fits the drone. Then I went to wall mart and found the same cable in a longer length, mine is 3.5 ft. it’s called a sync and charge cable with micro usb connector. Hope this helps
