Crystal Sky won't start up after battery change

I have a 7.9" high brightness Crystal Sky.Works fine but sometimes when changing to a second battery,it fails to restart.Does this randomly on occasion.I've tried holding the on button for a minute and pressing other side buttons with the on button.Any ideas why or tricks that can help restart it?Thanks
