There is no hardware video INPUT on an Ipad of any variety.
WiFi or Bluetooth are the only options.

Yes, I know, but I thought someone on the market was aware of a video adapter, etc.

Even if there was an "adapter" that you speak of it would need to plug into the Lightning Port on the bottom /side of the Ipad. The transmission of video requires a fair bit of bandwidth to allow the needed throughput. The chipset that the connector uses would not handle that amount of throughput.
