Finally, I'm getting around to changing the custom buttons. I found a couple of videos, but nothing 100% definitive for the Mavic 2 Pro. Obviously, the options are different for different Mavic drones. Here are the options for the Mavic 2 Pro:

C1 and C2 buttons have quite a few more options than the 5D button, so, it makes sense to use C1 or C2 for options that are not available on the 5D button.

That said, these are the settings I'm planning to use for everyday flying.

C1 = Center Auto Focus
C2 = Battery Info
5D Upper = Increase Exposure
5D Lower = Decrease Exposure
5D Left = AE Lock/Unlock
5D Right = Camera Forward/Down

I'm curious what others are using?

C1= Camera up and down to clear rain and snow
C2 = Light up landing gear if line of sight it lost
5D Upper = Increase Exposure
5D Lower = Decrease Exposure
5D Left = AE Lock/Unlock
5D Right = Camera up and down.

Unless I missed something, 5D Right does not have a "center auto focus" option on Mavic 2 Pro. Are you talking Phantom?

The real question is there anything you do frequently that requires going into the menus.
I do have the bottom light on a button.
If it’s already on a button or a wheel you really don’t need to use one of your buttons for it.
Also note it’s very easy to accidentally push the buttons while handling the controller.
