do you, if you are not really paying attention, find yourself doing the short press, long press thing?

only do the long press short press thing, when i am actually doing something drone related, such as checking for any updates before flying ,then when it comes to the actual flight ,is the time when you should be paying attention

I'm not sure I understand the question.

@vindibona1 i may be wrong of course ,but my understanding, is for what its worth ,he is asking if because we have to do the long press short press to activate the batteries and remote on our drones ,then do we ever find ourselves doing the same thing ,with other push button devices

I see...
I don't have that issue when it comes to other devices that need a single press. Sometimes my 4 year old grandson gets confused and doesn't quite understand the long press/short press feature. But he figures it out and can turn my drones on and off by himself, even if he forgets for a moment.

i can only speculate that @Yorkshire_Pud ,does indeed do the LPSP on devices other than his drones ,and wants to find out if its just something that he does ,or do others have the same issue

Yep, I catch myself doing it with the screen devices, lol.
Though I am curious as to why Vindibona1 and Old Man Mavic refer to long press, short press rather than short press long press? LOL.
No I am not from Lilliput.

didn't even know it would work the other way
It doesn't... LPSP only shows you the current battery SOC twice... I'm recuperating from surgery this week, had the time to check, couldn't resist, LOL

Edit: besides, now I'm in my shop, in my easy chair, in front of a 48-inch TV, Budlite in hand... MPP on the table next to me, remote in lap, listening to it raining like the Dickens... what's not to like?

this thread has been great fun ,so i guess we will just press on with it then
actually apart from me getting the long and the short of it ,the wrong way round (its my age i am afraid)
it should be short press ,followed by press and hold till all the lights are solid
but i guess SPLP will suffice

No, but I do index my trigger finger not only when handling firearms but when using a cordless drill, pressure washer wand, weed eater, etc. Force of habit!
