Hi guys, just to lay this second thread which has deviated from my original question. Yes, I knew what the other poster meant when they said zoom. No I did not think it meant zoom, in the traditional sense of changing the focal length smoothly. I have had a
Mavic 3 pro for a while and whilst I would not in the strictest sense describe changing to each lens zooming, it does have the desired affect of zooming, meaning the focal length changed rapidly.
So you both are right.
Technically moving from one lens to another should be described as changing the focal length of the lenses, but as that is a mouthful, a ‘zoom’ or ‘zooming’ definition is appropriate, for the want of a better word.
Now please stop going on about zooming.
