Sorry, I know nothing about iDevices... so, why don't you just plug it up to your Windows computer and try it. If you can see the folders on your iPad you'll be able to copy the files over. Airdata offers so much more than simply archiving files though...Must I use Airdata or iTunes? Can I simply copy the files via Windows Explorer (file manager)?

Since I use airdata I don't know offhand where the files are located, never bothered to look for them... but they should be easy to find. I'll go get my two flight devices (Galaxy S7 phone and Android tablet) check it out and get back to you asap. BTW, these are txt files but encrypted, so looking at the contents you'll only see a bunch of gibberish.I have a windows 10 computer and use an Android tablet with my MP1. I will try that. If you have an iphone and or a Mac I believe you must use iTunes but if you have an Android screen device and a windows PC you can use windows explorer, the latter is what I do, then use CsvView and or occasionally DJI Flight Log Viewer | Phantom Help.Must I use Airdata or iTunes? You don't need to... I especially don't see the need to copy them to a computer, they're encrypted - so without specialized software you can't read the contents anyway.I was just wondering why I need to even have the files.
Uuuum pre Fly app version 1.2..... both the DAT and txt logfiles can be read by CsvView, I think 'unbreakable' encryption started in 1.2.something, I recollect I tried a couple of 1.2 versions or one version twice and removed both because I want readable logsYou don't need to... Hence the specialized software of which I spoke.CsvView
