Detachable Thumb Stick on Mavic Pro controller??!!

I just watched a YouTube video that was posted a year ago for the Mavic Pro review

He just detach the thumb stick from the remote like the Mavic Air remote!

How come current Mavic Pro controller don’t have that?!

When the Mavic Pro first came out, some people were pulling the sticks out of the remote controller (they don't unscrew like the Mavic Air sticks). I've never tried it with my remote controller and I don't think it's a great idea to do it since it's probably possible to damage your remote controller in the process.

Possible Mod idea........
Cut out the display screen from the controller (who needs it?) Scoop out all the redundant electronics and make a flip cover from an old credit card painted black. You now have a nifty little storage box for your thumb sticks and parking change!
Or you could buy a Mavic Air?
