It is the most current, up-to-date Fly app information, to supplement the other older, more complete resources, cited above by @msingerOnly on 5 pages, very limited.
True -- but, it's another good resource to check out in addition to those I've shared above.Only on 5 pages, very limited.
You have multiple resources above that provide all the information you need, updated as recently as last month.Unfortunately done the research including asking DJI. A detailed manual for the fly app doesn’t exist.
Its RIGHT HERE on these forums as an active LIVE site that responds to your every question. If yes, where?
If not, what's the closest next thing and where I find it?
See posts #2 and #3 above. Those links are as detailed as anything else DJI puts out. What are you missing? As stated, unfortunately DJI does not publish a complete and detailed manual, just a simple guide. If you have the link, please pass it along.
It is a joke. The link is for a different model, the video is non-DJI (and not searchable by keywords), the manual is 5 page very superficial. So for a 5K gizmo (2+K drone and 1+K RC and 1+K worth of batteries), there's not a detailed DJI Fly manual. Those links are as detailed as anything else DJI puts out. What are you missing?
What exactly do you want to know? Anything not covered in those links can easily be answered by other users. Ask away!It is a joke. That's why this forum exists. We crowdsource whatever is missing. Any capabilities you need help with? Just ask!For those not familiar with detailed manuals take a look at Blackmagic‘s 4000 page Resolve manual or a more down to earth example (taken at random) the 500 page Nikon D810 manual. A 4 page Fly app quick guide seems a little stingy. I think DJI’s problem is they’re desperately trying to mix and match software, controllers & drones; keeping consumer and enterprise equipment separated and staying ahead of the competition. I expect doing the paperwork is low on the priority list. Even on the DJI Forum the so called “captains” refer u to 3rd party YouTube clips. Frustrating because you know your consumer M3 has so much more capability.
