Device Password Protection?

I'd like to password protect my smart controller. There is no option for it in the settings.
Is there a workaround with some android apk?

A quick search turned up a number of possible apps. I have no idea how or if they work. But you'd either need to find the apk files for use the workaround to install the Google Playstore and associated modules (which I have done and so far it generally works.)

I tried four different screen lock apks - none of them worked. It seems to be an issue with device permissions.
Granting those didn't work...

The Smart Controller is just not fully compatible with Android standards.

DO NOT password protect your SC. I installed Google Play, and tried to log on using my Google Business account, which wanted password protection. The dji implementation of android does not support the security. I locked myself out of the SC.

Unfortunately, No. It had to go in for service and was replaced with a new unit. I would have expected they could have just re-flashed the device with the initial bootloader and OS install, but that wasn't their solution.
