Did you fill out you FAA survey?

No idea. I haven't seen anything

There was a FAA survey also emailed a while back, maybe the same one for non-responders?

Dear Unmanned Aircraft Operator,

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is conducting a survey of registered recreational Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) operators for 2024, which includes owners and operators of both drones and model aircraft. This survey is used to determine UAS activity across the United States and help to predict future UAS activity. This information is important to the FAA for improving services for UAS operators, increasing the safety of both manned and unmanned aviation, allocating funds for UAS traffic management, and estimating the cost of regulations on the public.

Your responses and opinions are important to the FAA. The survey link below takes you to the FAA's UAS survey on Survey Monkey. The information you provide us is private and will not be willingly shared with other government offices, agencies, or departments. However, aggregate data, such as the average response to a question for all respondents, will be shared within the FAA to increase safety and inform policy. As such, please answer the questions to the best of your ability so that the FAA has the most accurate information when making decisions, which could directly affect you.

The brief survey is less than 10 minutes of your time

From what I can read, I don’t think this is a blanket list of UAV pilots. Certainly comes from an FAA list of some kind, but looks to be somewhat random to have gotten on this request. Received mine earlier this morning.

It's random, but it is from the FAA. Some drone folks get it, and some don't. The FAA lives on data, so if you get one, it's nice to fill it out. There is no repercussions if you do or don't though. So it's up to you.

Can you share the line of inquiry, as to what questions they are asking?

Not sure I would be able to find a copy of the listed questions. As I remember, the questions are related to where(which states)you have flown, how many times in what location and flight duration. I seem to remember the questions were based on monthly activities and after I filled out the required information, I got the impression they were attempting to gather information on location of activities and how much time you had a drone in the air. There were also a few questions regarding your choice of what altitude you occupied.
