About 1 and a half hours. Around 30 minutes of that was just on the ground not in the air.

Do you use to fly with or without the front gimbal dome? Perhaps a fly went inside the air cooling holes. Just my thought

No dome. Pretty sure it wasn't a heat issue. I think it was an esc or motor failure. From what I've read if one motor goes out it will flip 180 degrees

The Mavic was power off when it landed upside down.

Mine did the same thing. Mine turned back on and one motor immediately got hot. I thought I had done something wrong. Sent it back and they warrantied the repair. Waiting to get it back now.
