Hello again, I have one more question about Air 2S Dji assistant 2. When I go to update the Drone or the RC do I have to have the Drone or RC turned on when I plug it into my computer? Sorry for the repost, I had to add something.

Yes, otherwise it won't see anything is connected. When you open assistant 2 it will guide you through the process also.
