DJI released today (Nov. 03, 2017) a new version of the (old) GO app. 3.1.22.
In this release there is the already announced 'feature' with the knowledge quiz for U.S. users.

So, let's see when the next GO4 update will be online...

Downloading now . We all can take it together that do it :)

You can go to the quiz in a normal web browser if you wish, did see the link somewhere, didn't work on android though

Per DJI's article here, the quiz appears and requires pilots to answer a series of basic questions before their first flight. I guess that means we'll never see it.

So, while we are there in the middle of nowhere sometimes and ready to fly and cannot coz we need to take a test 1st?

It's a one time thing but I'm sure they enforce it after app update even if you have time synced so it you update load app before going to fly

Well I did update my Go App and won't have access to my P3 to later today and have looked all over it and can't find no test .
So you must have to have your bird powered up before it pops up .
When I do see it I will post back .

I don't think so. It sounds like they integrated into the existing DJI GO drone registration process.

Ok here it is guys. 9 of em .

And it's so easy even a caveman can do it :)

Took the test today after downloading the new update on the Go app. It really is a piece of cake, especially if you have been flying awhile. I thought perhaps any DJI pilot that has some time logged might not have to take it, but everyone who downloads the new update must the first time they launch it. I did it at home knowing I wasn't going to fly today so I would not be confronted with doing it on a mission. The questions are really common sense and most pilots should have no fear of failing it. 107 rated pilots can breeze right through it!

I took this quiz and passed it the first time. Now literally EVERY time I load the app it asks me to retake it as if it never happened. This is awful and pointless. Clearly something is broken. I sent a bug request to DJI and never heard back...

Wow, you got me thinking. I will launch the app again and connect with the controller to see if I have to keep taking the test. Thanks for the warning!

You are correct! Just fired my Mavic up again with the new update and have to take the test again even after passing with 100%. What is going on?

Yeah it’s terrible. There have been a few times where it didn’t ask me, but after force quitting the app and reconnecting everything it asked again. Now I just keep skipping it

Very sad that we basically need to go thru all this hoops before we can play with our own toys that we bought and paid for.

The FAA does a great job at convincing people their guidelines are "laws" that you MUST follow, and unfortunately this DJI "quiz" only feeds into that.

After pulling my hair out with the online chat foreign speaking representative and even phone support, I did a refresh on the Go app and it doesn't ask me anymore to take the quiz. It might pop up again, but perhaps it took some internet time to notify DJI I passed the quiz. I also quit the app and restarted. A real pain that the tech reps are so dumb as neither of them knew what I was talking about!

Only time I have seen the test is when I have done an update and thought it was because I had deleted old app before I did update .
I clear the old Go app from mine then just re download the app fresh
so I don't have them on top of each other or that just the way I see it .
Then I of course have to relog in and there it is . Now I don't ever log off the app just close it when I fly and have not had to do that test but then . Are you guys saying when you
quit the app
you are logging off then re logging back in ?
