DJI app keeps disappearing

I have a Samsung S7 edge - yeah I know it's not "officially" supported anymore.
But - Go4 runs fine its just that sometimes when I'm eyeballing teh craft and look back down the app has disappeared. I bring it back up and have to reconnect. Thanks goodness I haven't had this happen other that under manual control but I'd rather not risk it.
Is this the app quitting or me closing it somehow? Anyone else have the app vanish?

Android problems.
To minimize this problem try closing all background running apps and also enable Developer options.

I do all the above. I was wondering if the GO4 app might have an option to stay active.
Only thing I can think is somehow the home button got pushed sending all apps to background.

that's what I would check, interference between the RC arms and the home button.. you can also try to "pin" the app so that it cannot be minimized without holding down the two side buttons (at least that's how it works on stock android 7.1.2).
