Can anyone link a video of connecting the mavic to dji assistant i cant seem to figure it out. Connected the cord and everything but wont connect to assistant.

yes and i had the assistant running before i connected it. 1. Started assistant 2. Plugged in mavic 3. turned on mavic. Yes everything is plugged in all the way.

The DJI cable should work. Are you sure you weren't using a charge only Micro USB cable?

Dji cable didn’t work I found a really short Micro usb and it worked

Is there a way to downgrade firmware or factory reset the drone?

You can downgrade the Mavic firmware using the DJI Assistant 2 application as long as you're not running firmware version 1.04.01.

As of right now, there is no way to downgrade the firmware (or factory reset it).

So trying to use dji assistant will not help with a compass issue because i cant downgrade?

The only thing you could do is reinstall your current firmware.

I pressed factory reset yesterday with the drone connected to it and reset the drone according to the computer.

DJI Assistant is about the worst application I have ever had the displeasure of using... Gave up trying to connect my Mavic to it, even though I had installed the unsigned drivers!
