Mavic 2 Pro and DJI Pilot PE not working now

Is anyone having issue after downloading the new firmware for the remote ID that you cant use the dji pilot pe with the Mavic 2 pro. We have been using this for mapping for the last 2 years now it wont work. DJI is saying that we cant and should not have being able to use it for mapping. Any help would be greatly appreciated. We have a job coming up Friday.

If you have updated the firmware to .0797, it is possible to downgrade it to .0770. But then you will need an external RID-module.

They didn't update Pilot PE to work with the remote ID like they did with GO4. You could use Litchi or Drone Deploy for your mapping project. I don't know for sure about Drone Deploy but I know the latest version of Litchi does work fine after the remote ID update. You could create your mapping job on the mission hub and load it to aircraft when you want to start the flight. However, trying to get all that done in a day would be tricky.
