DJI Assistant Not Recognizing Mavic Air

I have v1.1.2 of Assistant - know it's not the current version, but I want capabilities that DJI removed in subsequent updates.

When I connect my Mavic Air, I hear the connecting sound, but a Mavic Air icon does not appear...instead, I see a Mavic Pro icon, and a name of "orange30" appear under connected devices.

I tried to uninstall, and re-install, but that didn't help.

Could it be that the MA was released after this version of DJI Assistant 2 ?

Probably need to get a MP to do the firmware modifications

I had v.1.1.2 installed on this same computer after I got the MA...in March of 2018, and it worked fine...I was able to access the flight parameters. I installed the "latest" version from DJI, before learning of the lost functionality, so I deleted it, and reinstalled v1.1.2
