DJI Care Refresh in Australia.

Hi all,

I am just waiting for my delivery of the Mavic Pro Platinum and was looking at purchasing the Care Refresh for $229 (AUD).

I was reading up about it on the DJI website and saw this.

In the AU region:
For DJI Care Refresh (X7), the first time replacement fee is AUD $649 , the second time replacement fee is AUD $849.

So, does that mean that if I claim on the Refresh Care, it will cost me AUD $649 for a replacement?

That's strange. I check the DJI website, it says AUD$159 and AUD$229 for the MPP.

Right. Those are the current MPP prices. @Mxh666 quoted the prices for the X7.

@Mxh666, you can find the current DJI Care Refresh replacement prices at the bottom of this page in the "Replacement Fee" section.

It's just like an excess on a house or motor vehicle insurance policy.

Enjoy the MPP when it arrives, but don't go rushing things, read the manual, watch youtube vids.

Congrats got mine last Monday
So happy with it updated firmware and all good
Have to give my phantoms a rest for a while
But I passed to refresh offer from DJI
Never crashed yet only good for 1 year just be careful

Anyway once you registered they give you 48hours so no need to rush it

Well it is being delivered by Australia Post. So I will be lucky to get it by Xmas.

Like all insurance, which you pay every year, you don't ever want to have to make a claim. But you'd be glad to have it when you do. Sometimes, things happen beyond your control, like a bird deciding to have a close look.
The park near where I live, has a territorial magpie. It would hover very close if I get my drone up near the tree tops, and actually fly between trees watching my drone flying back and forth. I stopped flying at that park.

Yes agree birds are a worry
The house I live in got a reserve in the back so many types of birds
Had a few close calls but lucky so far
But.......I do not like insurance always feel like a con

I think all insurance are a con... You can pay for a house/car insurance all your life without making a claim. That's why insurance companies makes millions/billions each year, except when there's a natural disaster.
