DJI Care Refresh

UPDATE: Well what do you know...the first logical reply I've received from DJI. Looks like YOU CAN DEFINITELY transfer your Care Refresh to a newly purchased new Mavic (or similar) so long as the original product was returned to the store (does not have to be DJI's own DJI Direct)....

quote from DJI today:
"Thank you for contacting DJI Care Customer Support.

In cases where you end up returning the product, we can transfer the plan only to a similar unit. Once you have received the new drone, please provide the following information:

- New Aircraft Body S/N
- Old Aircraft Body S/N
- Proof of return"

:)

Thunderdrones...I see you repair drones - that's great. Do you know anyone like you that does this in Western Canada? I see you fly helis too; me too, I've got a brand new 450 never flown it and at least $3000 in spare parts for it ready to go :) Repairing drones must be a walk in the park compared with helis eh? And people think fixing drones is expensive... :) :)

Yes I do drone repairs every day in addition to maintaining my own RC cars, trucks, planes and boats. I dont have any referrals to a repair shop in Western Canada, but I have had a bunch of customers from Canada send me their drones.

Yes I fly helis too, and the Trex 450 was my favorite of them all. I just sold it last year, after around 10 years of ownership. I had owned pretty much all of the Trex, JR, and Raptor lines in both nitro and electric, but the 450 was the last to go and my favorite of all. Yes drone maintenance is much less involved than heli maint. No blades to pitch or track, drones couldnt care less about the wind, and the best part is that the drone always comes home! I have cratered more helis than I can remember, and drones are a welcome addition to my life, especially as my thumbs get dumber with age.
