DJI Fly v1.4.2 Directional Pointer Freezing

I have just tested v1.4.12, and the bug is real. The relative direction of your drone to the controller/compass pointer on the lower left is dead as of now.
No such issue before with v1.4.8 (1120) and v1.4.8 (1185 beta). I guess there is nothing much to do except wait for DJI to fix it.

It seems like a good move. I only postpone firmware updates and not application updates.

It's a known thing, several YouTube presenters have videos out on it. So far what I'm seeing is, you can use the map to find your way.

There has been another build update released yesterday. I hope this fixes it.

Si prega d'installare l'ultimo aggiornamento dell'applicazione DJI Fly. Dovrebbe risolvere il tuo problema.

Yes. But this version has already got three build updates. 1386, 1410, and 1420
