And I’m saying that from past experience I’ve had ‘changes’ applied to my drone and remote control without me authorising a download of any type, firmware, software or database. Hence my caution. They’ve done it before, they’re capable of doing it again.

So here in Europe, on January 1, anyone with a DJI C0 classed drone who’d updated firmware and Fly app previously got a hard limit of 120m above takeoff point imposed on them without downloading or updating anything. Nothing about it in release notes.

Exactly the same way they sneaked the 400' altitude lock in the first time back in 2022... without warning, without notification and without mandatory requirement.
