DJI Go 4 app not connecting

I've had my MP for a little over a week and I've flown it over 10 times and logged about an hour and a half of flight time. I've used the DJI Go 4 app on my iPhone 7 plus for each flight with no issues. Now, all of a sudden, my app will not connect. The remote pairs to the MP just fine. I know the phone is hooked up to the remote properly because it briefly shows the battery charging. I've used the provided lighting cable as well as my own cable plugged into the bottom USB port (I unplugged the provided cable from the upper left connector). I've deleted and re-downloaded the DJI Go 4 app twice. Still nothing. I put the MP in wifi mode and it connects to my phone via the app with no issues. Any ideas as to what's going on?
 
Check if the cable on the left side is plugged in to the controller (but nothing else on the other end) and then you are using the bottom USB port it won't connect properly.... somehow having an unconnected cord in the lightening port interferes...
 
I had similar issues and when I rebooted my iphone I was able to connect again
