DJI go 4 camera settings

Can the camera/video settings be set in the app without being connected to the mpp or do I have to be powered up and totally connected for the settings to take place?

You have to be connected. The settings are sent to the AC.

Edit: Also be aware that some settings may not "stick" in the AC if you do a complete shutdown and then restart, so check settings each time you boot.

So do I have to set the camera settings every time I fly? Or can I just set them once and they will be retained?
