DJI Go 4 update?

My phone is updated to DJI GO 4 version 4.3 released Aug. 25th. Does the drone, controller and or batteries need firmware updating?

The latest firmware came out on 2018.09.03 and is version number v01.04.0500

well, that was the usual DJI brutal and excruciating experience. Over an hour to do the update with the desktop app. Then I had to reset bird, RC and app 3X to get the damned red message to go away. Finally DONE.

yeah, this was the first time I've had this much trouble since I first opened my DJI Spark last year and had a bazillion updates to do. It took me 3 days. I was ready to return it and get my money back when all of a sudden on day 3 everything updated quickly. SMDH.
