both my phone (used for Spark) and iPad (for MP) updated automatically, as I leave updates turned on - way too much crap in my life that needs doing manually already.

haven't had a chance to fly either post-update yet, but I just fired both aircraft up on the bench and pleasingly no loss of settings.
