Dji go and Dji go 4 failures

Tried to fly yesterday, and the Dji go app won't connect anymore with the mavic. Tried loading the Dji go 4 app and it just crashes every time I try to open it, using a droid HTC phone.

Only have one phone that would keep me connected to the web

You dont need to be connected to the web once you download the app and sign in. You can always use another device to fly it and connect it via hotspot to your HTC.

What gets me is that it used to work just fine with Dji go .. Why the constant change that now makes it un compatible

Ive had to upgrade my phone twice because it was no longer on the approved list.
