thinking about getting a pair of the standard versions. Any reason not to or only the RE versions?
Plus can I use these on any other fpv race drone. I would like a pair I can use for both if possible. I assume the dji goggles would be better than let’s say fatsharks etc..

Have a look at the Epson Moverio BT-300 as well, much lighter and a smaller form factor than the DJI goggles.

Also they mixed reality so you can still see the drone via VLOS

There are also issues with glasses and the DJI Goggles, the BT-300 has inserts for a prescription and also a nose bridge extension that pushes the frames further out, which then allows some glasses to sit behind them.

Rochester Optical in the U.S has a slightly different option

Smart Glasses Optimized Lens Designs (Smart GOLD) Lenses for Epson BT-300

Even though I am short sighted I don't find I need the glasses as the screen image is in the distance and magnified
