Eye opening article on DJI founder. Pay attention to mention of Customer Service philosophy.

I purchased a Phantom (0) in 2012 and learnt many of the issues of flying drones. The still functional Phantom now collects dust On a shelf. But as airplane pilot and professional photographer & videographer I feel that the real game changer was the Inspire 1 Pro (I have 2). It made the drone into a powerful and affordable filming tool with an excellent camera (interchangeable lens’) with a really good sensor. It has its limitations (less than 100 mbps, 8 bit depth) but with the Inspire, the professional uses exploded.

Great article, enlightening too in some new things I learned reading this.
So confirming DJI holds about 70% of the US drone market.
Nearest competitors hold less than 4% of the market each.
Wow, that is incredible successful !
Right place, right products, right time, right focus, right people . . . all the planets aligned for DJI.

No wonder Aeroscope would be so successful in its market niche, even if not developed to find other brand drones (which would be easy for this type of company and technological experience).
