That’s totally unrelated and Litchi is a “DJI comparable app.”

It use to be you could fly the drone without a device connected to the remote but DJai changed it at some point so you couldn’t fly very far without a device attached.

Lame for forcing something on us but nbd because going further than that because who doesn’t fly with device attached

It has nothing to do with Litchi or 3rd party apps at all.
And it isn't DJI forcing anything on anyone.
It's simply that after the update, the owner of the drone has to log onto their DJI account again and you can't do that from a 3rd party app.
