Nothing wrong with the controller or the app.Hey! I know that guy!!! Thanks for Sharing.
To sum up the video... the drone and camera are freaking awesome. But DJI did us dirty with the Controller and the App.
Maybe if you have only used the Fly app in the past or this is your first "real" drone, but after six years of flying the Phantom series, including 800+ hours on the P4P with the GO4 app, the Fly app is seriously crippled.Nothing wrong with the controller or the app.
Disagree with both of what you said about the fly app and the controller, yes I use both,I fly with the regular controllerMaybe if you have only used the Fly app in the past or this is your first "real" drone, but after six years of flying the Phantom series, including 800+ hours on the P4P with the GO4 app, the Fly app is seriously crippled.
The standard controller is more like a toy. The RC Pro is MUCH better, both functionally and the way it feels in your hands, but that small screen is awful after years of flying with the iPad Mini 4 and 5. Maybe the dumbed-down Fly app is required to make the small screen usable.
I agree, there is nothing wrong with the controller or the App. However coming from the M2P controller to the M3 standard controller its a bit of a joke and a serious downgrade. You have no visual feedback or data display on the M3 remote. You can't adjust the AE value with the remote, you can't half press the shutter button to focus the camera, there are just a bunch of features on the M2P controller that do not exist on the M3 controller. I don't know how you can argue that the M3 controller is superior to the M2P controller. The M3 controller has half of the buttons and controls than the M2P controller.Nothing wrong with the controller or the app.
Its not an argument, its a fact, look at the goofy crab claw mounting system on the M2P controller.I agree, there is nothing wrong with the controller or the App. However coming from the M2P controller to the M3 standard controller its a bit of a joke and a serious downgrade. It may be 'the way that it is' but that doesn't mean it's the way it should have been. I almost feel cheated.
