Dji mini 2

Just got a mini drone 2 but can’t get it to fly! How do I turn on controller and drone itself. I’m not sure because it flashes with all lights on both.
if someone can tell me how to turn it on. I will be happy. I’m 62 but the brain still works just lack of instructions with it.

On the drone or controller, press the button once quick with a touch and then one long hold down on the button and either of them will turn on .

I would suggest reading them BEFORE you fly

Also The Drone and Model Aircraft Code | UK Civil Aviation Authority I believe you will shortly need an operator ID anyway

You will get it.... it has nothing to do with age... it’s just unfamiliar territory..just like anything else... having said that. If you can’t turn anything on. Put it down and learn as much as you can. Do not attempt to fly it yet......

Isn't there a sticker on it to tell you how to turn it on?

If it's any consolation, after not using it for several weeks, or perhaps it was after getting it back from repair, I couldn't get the P3 RC to turn on but not a problem with the AC. Besides forgetting the press, press and hold, I was also pressing the RTH button. Doh!

I get the message that GPS is weak. as I’m inside would this be a problem?
my old Parrot AR worked inside.

Depends on where the Satellites are in relation to a window I guess...sometimes my drones lock right on and other times they don't when they are on my kitchen table.

I would recommend that you do NOT attempt to fly inside as a newbie. And not in your back yard (unless you have LOTS of open area). Best place is to go to a park with no / few trees until you get the hang of it.

Lots of people on here have ruined their brand-new drones doing this.
