DJI Mini Pro 4 Car Charger

I have a need to charge a Mini 4 Pro while in my car. Is there a car charger that would work with this model?

Any USB-C PD will work. When charging a battery with the hub, it pulls around 35W, so a 40W one is fine. DJI sells their 65W one.

Thanks. I was thinking I would need some sort of special charger, but a regular lighter plug with a usb port is all that is required.

I had to buy a special charger for the Mavic 3 batteries. Here is the page I choose from. I used this on my Kyrgyszstan trip where there are no electric outlets for hundreds of miles.

Many of these cigarette or accessory port adapters do not begin to provide enough current for a cell phone much less a drone. DJI recommends a 30W charger/adapter which the cigarette port can support as it is 10 amps at 12VDC or 120W.

Check that the lighter port provides power when the engine is turned off as with some vehicles it is maintained and with others it is not.

The car fires from cell phone chargers resulted when owners left them to charge inside their cars. No one present to monitor the phone and deal with the fire before the vehicle and the garage were set ablaze.

I can vouch for this item. In July, 2024 I was on a 3 week photo workshop in Kyrgyzstan, where we drove for many hours and 3 days in a row, without a sign of civilization or electricity. This device was able to keep me flying my M3 . They recharged my three M3 batteries with the auto cigarette light plug in a matter of an hour or
two.
