Most likely a firmware issue issue did you update the controller as well?......... you need too.

Both devices are updated

Try manual pairing by pressing and holding the Fn button, Photo/Video Toggle, and Shutter/Record Button simultaneously on the controller for about 2 seconds, until it beeps and the battery LEDs roll.
