I'm hoping it isn't 30% off an overpriced drone only purchased direct from DJI

Missing the fact that these are inflated prices post discontinuation and I paid $299 for the Fly More combo last month (which then dropped to $255 for liquidation)

So, why don't you buy elsewhere if you know of a deal lower than $225? If you can find an official DJI dealer selling at below MAP prices with an official DJI warranty, then take it and run.
