DJI RC Controller Sim Card

I know there had been talk a while ago about a sim card dongle coming for the RC model controller.

I wonder if anyone knows of anything more coming from that?

Last word (Perhaps not final) Is only for China. Although there are some reports that it does work in US, with some phone services.
