DJI RC Plus with Mavic 3 consummer

As far as I know, there are currently some drone players using DJI RC Plus to link with consummer drones (Mavic3, classic, Pro...) by flashing firmware. So does such use really ensure safety for flights?

Has anyone using the Ebay RC Plus tried updating the dji fly app?

To answer your question, I purchased one on eBay from a Chinese seller. The RC Pro firmware has been flashed, making it compatible with the Mavic series. You cannot update the RC Plus firmware as it will corrupt the firmware and you end up with a dead $600 controller. That said, the one I bought works just fine with my Mavic 3 Classic

Just don’t also update the FW!
