Welcome to the forum! Unfortunately, Drone Deploy is not available directly on all DJI RCs, so you may need to sideload the application. On your RC, open the built-in browser and visit the official Drone Deploy website. Download the Drone Deploy app’s APK file. Then it might work. Hope that helps!

Make sure to go to Drone Deploy's website to check for compatible drones. They're software only works with selected DJI Drones. Since DJI stopped sending out the SDK kits, DD works mostly with the older DJI drones and the Enterprise series. I think the last consumer/prosumer drone was the Air 2s, but you have to have a paid subscription to use DD with it.

So went into the DJI store to look at the RC Plus and the site told that it was not available in our region.

Yes you can load mapping plans into the DJI RC Plus controller by installing the DroneDeploy Flight app directly onto the device. As of 2026, the RC Plus and RC Plus 2 are among the few DJI enterprise controllers officially supported for direct DroneDeploy flight operations.

How to Steps…

Download the App: On your RC Plus, open the web browser and go to dronedeploy.com/flightapp.

Install the APK: Tap the download link, then select Open and Install once the download finishes.

Log In: Open the DroneDeploy app and log in to your account.
Your saved mapping plans from the web dashboard will automatically sync to the controller.

You did not say much about your setup, so here are some issues…

The DroneDeploy app on the RC Plus supports specific drone and camera combinations:

Drones: Matrice 350 RTK, Matrice 300 RTK, and Matrice 4 Enterprise/Thermal series.

Cameras/Payloads: Zenmuse P1, H20, and H20T.

Note: Payloads like the L1, L2, and H20N are typically not supported for direct flight control within the DroneDeploy app but can be used via DJI Pilot 2 for data capture and later processed in DroneDeploy.
