I think it'll suit those who like sports mode with their mavics, with amped up speed and maneuverability but without the cost of repairs of their mavics if they crash.

The air unit has ability to receive commands from the RC with super low latency and then pass the commands to the flight control board of your choice although DJI does recommand a specific model of T-MOTOR
