hi just out of curiosity ive just checked my mini mavic serial number checker on the dji decoder and it says my mavic and controller were made jan 2020 but all tree batterys were made in march 17 2003 how is this poss

It's unlikely the batteries are that old so either the serial numbering for batteries follows a different scheme from the airframe or the software which does the decode is buggy. (Possibly both... the software doesn't detect out of range dates from another scheme).

2003 Yikes!..The Navy had a drone in 2003 that was small enough to fit, folded up, in a golf bag. I think it was capable of climbing to nearly 500 ft or something like that.
