DJI Simulator wont boot up

I have downloaded the DJI Flight Simulator and intend to use it with the Smart Controller.
I receive two error messages that pertain to missing dll files:

X3DAudio1_7.dll not found, downloading the program again might help

XAPOFX1_5.dll file not found, downloading the program might help

I've made the assumption that the required .dll files are part of the DJI software install and not part of the Windows 10 .

Has anyone experienced similar issues or know of a work around? I've made multiple downloads and the problem is not solved.

DJI was contacted weeks ago for support and has not responded.

The program is Version 1.4.0.0, installed on a Windows 10 machine.

Launcher is 2.2.0.0

Think it's this --> DJI FLIGHT SIMULATOR

I have the free version installed & it is V1.4.0.0

Try to upgrade the Microsoft DirectX to the latest version and update the graphics driver.

DLL stands for Dynamic Link Library.
THIS & THIS May help.
I haven't tested the downloads but they look promising

It's been awhile since I googled this, but I think you actually have to install an older version of DirectX, (DirectX 9), on Windows 10 to get rid of this error.

While you could go find the dll files and put them in your System32 folder, it's probably best to just install the package from Microsoft.

As I said, it's been awhile so I hope this isn't misleading.

Turns out it was a DirectX problem as some suspected.. Cyborg provided a couple of links and I was able to update and repair the .dll files. So, thanks for all the help
