Opened up the app today prepping for a flight and what do I see ?? Restriction zones all over the place. The map was literally unreadable due to overlapping colored zones. Now I’m seeing flight paths. When the hell did that happen ??

In many cases this is for the better. In some cases not. There are now more categories/types of restricted zones, along with altitude geo-fences, and you'll have to go the legend on the flysafe geomap to see all of the changes.

You're seeing the rollout of the new GEO system that was announced back in October.

It might be OK in the USA but hete ikn Australia it is hopeless. In my area it has completly missed most controlled airspace, including Perth's International airport and a v e ry busy GA field at Jandicote
