Do I need a longer cord ?

Do I need a longer cord to use the huawei mediapad t5 with the mini 2 controller? I've already 3d printed a extender for the remote but didn't think about the cord till now.

I would think that only you would know that. It sounds like you have the mount but haven't tried it yourself. You can mount it up and use a piece of string to simulate the length of cable you might need or see if the cable you currently have would work.

I can't yet. I'm waiting on my drone and tablet. Just ordered them this morning. I was wondering if I need to order a longer cord as well. That's why I posted it on here. Sorry, should have clarified that in the original post.

A longer cord will always be beneficial. Most of the DJI cords are made to use phones which are much smaller. No idea on what size your tablet is, but got one with my Lenovo M10 and it is like 11+ inches long.

I own a T5 Media Pad, and had to purchase a longer USB-Micro to USB-Micro cable, the one I purchased through Amazon is excellent and has the same angled USB connector to connect into the Mavic Controller, 8.15.Inch.
